Everlasting simplicity and comfort are key! These pants, from 2014 are from Vince and the shirt is from the Vince men's 2014 line. Basic yes, and a pop of turquoise in the shoes and the accessories makes this basic outfit perfectly mine. Vince is a favorite brand. I'm lucky to have a special Vince store manager to help me with my selections.

This is a great combination of tailored clothing and "off the rack." I loved the fabric I saw in Hong Kong's Western Market. Bought it but didn't know how to make it my own. Using the fabric, this coat was designed and tailored for me by Sam's Tailor in Hong Kong. The black basics underneath are simply Vince pants and a Helmut Lang top, along with the very comfortable 3.1 Phillip Lim shoes. There's enough fabric left to create a matching handbag; just need to locate the right place to have it done.

This pretty and tasty one is from Maison Kayser in my neighborhood. A perfect start to the day and a nice break in the afternoon.
